A History of Teamwork and Service

We invite you to stay for awhile and visit the links which will help you understand our services, the myriad of ways we can care for you, and as much patient education as we can provide to assist you along the way with your decision making and health care choices.  If you have questions and you don’t see the answers here, please fill out our easy contact form below and we will get back to you quickly.

By spending time on our website you will also meet the doctors, midwives and other team members who warmly welcome you to our practice. Our newsfeed (highlight and link) doubles as our practice’s blog site, and we hope you will visit it frequently, share it with your friends and/or family, and contribute to it whenever you feel moved to add your thoughts, experiences and/or birth stories. In the same way that the best healthcare is ultimately a collaboration between patient and provider, we want our website to be collaborative as well.

Introducing Our New Patient Portal

We’re very pleased to announce our new patient portal where you can send a message to your doctor, schedule appointments, pay your bill and more.

PLEASE NOTE: The portal system is not monitored during non business hours (4:30PM-8:00AM Monday-Friday), nor on weekends or holidays. Please do not correspond with an urgent message. About Our Practice

The Durham Women’s Clinic, now known by most of our patients, both old and new, as Women’s Health Alliance Durham, has maintained a tradition of excellence in obstetric and gynecologic care since opening our doors in 1941. Our goal is to maintain and continuously improve upon these standards and exceed your expectations.  Once patients come for their first appointment they often become patients for life.

The first thing our patients notice and comment about is how warm and friendly our environment is.  We often hear how impressed they are that we know them by face and by name.  Our staff is excellent, our doctors are approachable and it is clear to all who visit us repeatedly, that we love coming to work at the office.

Our practice has expanded, grown and developed to meet the varied needs of these lifetime patients and to be attractive to new patients. Regardless of your age and/or stage of life you are entering or leaving, we have the experience and expertise to take care of you and to become your primary health care provider. On the rare occasion we find an issue which is outside our range of care, we are networked in our community and maintain close relationships with internists, psychiatrists, general surgeons, and other specialists. Our office offers preventative care as well.
