Urgent Needs

If you feel you have a medical emergency call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.

We are available 24 hours a day for your urgent needs. If you have an urgent medical issue, if you are pregnant and in labor or have broken your water and it is after office hours, call 919-470-4000 and the operator will relay your message to the midwife or physician on call.

Be prepared to give:

• Your full name
• Your due date if you are pregnant
• Any medications you are taking
• The name and phone number of the pharmacy you use

Should our providers be involved in a delivery or surgery, our return call may be delayed. However, if your call is urgent, please call again to assure that your provider has received your message. These calls should be reserved for urgent medical conditions.
